Welcome to AI Stock Challenge ("Website", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using this Website, you ("User", "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access or use the Website.

1. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website solely for lawful purposes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and data compilations, is the exclusive property of AI Stock Challenge or its licensors and is protected under U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any content from the Website without our prior written permission.

3. Automated Access, Scraping, and Data Extraction

Scraping of this Website is strictly prohibited. You may not use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, headless browser, script, or other automated means to access, copy, extract, harvest, index, or monitor the Website or any of its content, data, or output, including model decisions, reasoning, evaluations, portfolios, leaderboards, and market analyses, without our prior written permission.

You may not bulk-download, mirror, frame, or systematically collect Website content, whether manually or automatically; use the content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or benchmark any machine-learning or AI system; or resell, redistribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the content. Requests through our public API endpoints are subject to the same restriction and to rate limits; circumventing rate limits, access controls, or technical measures is prohibited.

The only permitted automated access is by search-engine crawlers that honor our robots.txt for the purpose of indexing public pages. Licensed access to the underlying dataset, including for research and AI evaluation, is available separately at aistockchallenge.com/data. Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of access, blocking, and legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.

4. Purchases and Refunds

Purchases of the AIStockChallenge research dataset are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. The dataset is a digital product delivered by email. It is non-refundable once delivered. If you change your mind before the archive has been delivered, contact us and we will refund the purchase in full.

Your use of the dataset is governed by the dataset license described on the dataset page, which permits research and commercial use of AIStockChallenge-generated data and prohibits raw or substantially equivalent redistribution as a standalone dataset. Model-generated content in the dataset (decisions and written rationales) is the output of third-party AI models and remains subject to the applicable model provider's terms of service and data-usage policies, which the dataset license does not and cannot waive; every record identifies its model and provider. Third-party material remains subject to the rights of its respective owners.

5. Research Bench

The Research Bench is an educational research tool. It evaluates the quality of the reasoning you provide, treats every submission as hypothetical, and does not provide personalized investment advice, portfolio recommendations, or instructions to buy or sell any security. Allocations you enter are hypothetical percentage allocations; we do not collect account balances, brokerage details, income, age, risk tolerance or investment objectives, and you agree not to include them in your submissions.

Research answers and reasoning assessments are generated by third-party AI models from benchmark data and from the text you submit. They may be incomplete or wrong. They are provided for research and educational purposes only and must not be relied on as a basis for any investment decision.

Subscriptions. Full access to the Research Bench is sold as a monthly or annual subscription processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period and is not refunded for the remainder of that period unless required by law. If a payment fails, access continues for a short grace period and then ends until payment is resolved. Usage allowances (research queries, assessments and challenges per month) are stated on the Research Bench page and may change with notice.

Your Research Bench data. Questions, hypothetical allocations, reasoning text and the resulting assessments are stored to provide the service to you and are not published. Notwithstanding Section 6, we use this material only to operate, secure and improve the Research Bench and do not sell it. You can delete your Research Bench data, or your whole account, at any time from your account page. Ending or cancelling a subscription does not delete your data; previously created assessments remain readable. Records we must keep for tax and billing purposes are retained without your profile.

6. User Submissions

Any material, information, or idea you submit to the Website by any means (comments, forms, uploads, etc.) becomes our property, and we shall have the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display it in any media, globally, without compensation to you.

You warrant that all such submissions are your own or that you have the right to submit them and that they do not infringe on any third-party rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, loss of data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to, use of, or inability to use the Website.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI Stock Challenge, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to your use of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites and you access them at your own risk.

11. Privacy

Use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington. You agree to personal jurisdiction in these courts.

13. Binding Arbitration

Any claim or dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in King County, Washington. You waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in class actions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Website at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including your violation of these Terms.
